Current market conditions look more bearish than bullish.

Which means you should not be making long-term stock investments.

Mark my words, sitting on stocks is not a good idea right now.

Nobody knows what’s going to happen next.

You’ve got the Russia/Ukraine war…

Inflation…

Recession fears…

Rising interest rates…

And desperate monetary policy trying to keep the economy in line.

With all this unpredictability lingering in the air… you want to move in and out of stocks quickly.

The shorter your setups are, the more successful you’ll be.

Now swing trading has a 60 to 90 day setup.

That’s a little too long for my taste, especially with current market conditions.

For example, look at the S&P 500…

It dropped from $4,800 down to $3,800 in five months.

The people holding a 401(k) or IRA are really feeling the pain right now.

If you bought the S&P 500 this year and held… you would be down 19% at a minimum!

But if you day traded the S&P 500… it’s a much different story.

Here are three personal examples…

On this day, I got in at a double bottom… and came out making $550 per contract…

Another time, I moved in when I saw a bear flag… and walked away with a cool $750 per contract…

And I also moved in when I saw a down trendline break, and made $450 per contract…

That’s the power of trading.

We can ride volatility for consistent profits and then get out of our position before the market drops lower.
